  • Completion of all University and college requirements, the requirements of the major field, and the minimum sciences leads to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and qualfies one to be considered for admission to medical school.
  • Information about specific medical schools is available in "Medical School Admission Requirements", available for $30.00 from the Association of American Medical Colleges, 2450 "N" Street, Washington, D.C. 20037-1126.
  • For information about the dental profession and individual dental schools, see "Admission Requirements of U.S. and Canadian Dental Schools" which may be ordered from the American Association of Dental Schools, 1625 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20036-2212.
  • The Competency Requirements should be completed during the first two years or not later than the end of the fourth term at WSU. Students should also complete most of the Group Requirements during that period.
  • A maximum of 64 semester hours from a two-year college or colleges will apply towards the bachelor's degree.
