- This program leads to certification to teach the major and minor in grades 7-12.
- Admission to the College of Education requires the completion of 53 semester hours, a minimum of 12 semester hours in the major, cumulative GPA of 2.50, a passing score on the University English Proficiency Exam, fulfillment of math competency, a passing score on the State Basic Skills Test, and a negative TB test.
- Students are required to complete an academic major and a minor for teacher certification.
